Terri Burditt joined the LEAP Board in 2007, serves as Secretary and is a former LEAP parent. Terri is a graduate of the University of Houston and a member of the alumni association. She is an active member of Greater Mt. Zion Baptist Church serving as the Greeter’s Ministry Leader and a frequent volunteer for the Women’s Ministry, Mission 3 Ministry and the Food & Clothing Pantry. Other community involvements include George Washington Carver Museum Ambassador, CASA guardian ad litem for abused and neglected children of Travis County and breast cancer awareness and fundraising for the Susan G. Komen Race For The Cure. Also, Terri facilitates a workshop “How to apply for scholarships” for Austin area parents and youths. Terri has facilitated this workshop at the University of Texas, St. Edwards University, various community churches and with parent groups. Terri is a member of the management team at the Texas Property and Casualty Insurance Guaranty Association.
